Hi All

I finished my 50th guitar build in 2020. I noticed in another thread(http://www.luthiersforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10101&t=53984) that some of you like to see full builds in the "OLF Doc-U-Build" forum. I thought this build might be a good one to post there. Because I have already documented this build on my web site; I don't think it makes sense to post all the pictures and text here. So I am posting the link to that build. https://www.guitarsbygiltzow.com/50th-guitar-for-mark.html - Mike G

50 is quite the accomplishment! Congratulations. I'm going to check out your build thread but I'm going to wait until I have some time to really dig through it.

Mike,
I just got around to looking at the build portion of OLF. I like build docs. Well done. I always see things I never knew. I had no idea a headstock inlay could be so thick. I don't have guitars around, and haven't examined them, but I make them. It would probably be good to look at, and play some good guitars and get a better idea of what I'm doing!

Mike, congratulations on your 50th. I enjoyed your build documentation. You seem to be a great jig maker also! I’ll steal a trick or two. Beautiful work.
